IAN PERFORMED MORE THAN 40 EVENTS FROM JANUARY 2005 IN WELL

JEFFREYS BAY AMPHITHEATRE, MMM LOUBSER AUDITORIUM IN PORT
ELIZABETH, VARIOUS EVENTS (KKNK INCLUDED), AND NUMEROUS
TOWNS ACROSS SOUTH AFRICA.
IAN IS A MEMBER OF VOALIM (AN ORGANIZATION ASSISTING WITH THE
CREATION OF ORIGINAL AFRIKAANS MUSIC).

started singing three years ago, I realized that I need
PEOPLE in this game. Therefore, I am so glad to meet you -

My song repertoire is of such a nature that I am capable
of satisfying a variety of music tastes. I have sufficient
confidence to act as a guest artist. I am performing
Afrikaans as well as English songs. I have the ability of
"reading" my audience.

Practical, stylish and trendy.

I released my debut album "Op Pad..." in January 2005 which
consists of 13 original Afrikaans tracks. The songs were
written by myself, Sarel Botha and Mara Venter.
STYLE OF PRESENTATION
Energetic/enthusiastic presentation of songs to suit the
specific need. Each song is performed to create and retain
the atmosphere that is required to satisfy the soul.

My entertainment is for the young and not so
young. The repertoire consists of original Afrikaans and
English songs, rock 'n roll songs (Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis,
Fats Domino), modern ballads.

COMPETITIONS
To enhance my singing career, I took part in competitions
hosted by DIE BURGER, the AFRIKAANS TAAL -EN
KULTUURVERENIGING and achieved good marks. In 2006 I was
chosen to go to Carnival City for the semi-final of
SUPERSTERRE hosted by PATRICIA LEWIS.
OTHER BONUSES
BAY FM 107.9 accepted two of my original songs, namely "Wegbreektyd"
and “Knysnabosrock" on its play list. Another original
song of mine, "Ek en Jy" can be heard on the "Uitsaaines".
"Uitsaaines" is broadcasting worldwide via the internet.
Choreographed various dances for various events. On two
occasions I performed the duty of host, inter alia, at
the Mr. and Miss Despatch High School Pageant. In 2005 I was
an Eastern Cape finalist of "DIE BURGER PLUSSTER" competition.
This gave me the opportunity to perform in many pre-shows
in the Eastern Cape. In 2006 I acted as judge in the trials
and semi-finals of Frans Conradie / Bay FM UD Singing Competition.
